Finally! Looks like the templates have been fixed!

There are apparently problems with Blogger’s template system.

I have had a grand vision about the future of middle America. And I need investors.
Imagine, if you will, one of those beautiful, manicured golfing communities, centered around and equally beautiful, manicured, and expensive Country Club. Imagine yourself driving by the gates of this community every day in your El Camino, fantasizing about the exotic frozen drinks with little umbrellas the Members of the Club are drinking. They mock you, El Camino driver! You burn rubber back to your Manufactured Home to seek solice in your minidish and PBR tallboys.
But there is another way.

Wow. Not much in the blog department the past few days.

I’ve been playing with the layout a bit. Things may be a bit bass-ackward for a while.

We had most of the house updated last week with fancy recessed lighting. Now every room has a dimmer switch so we can have “mood lighting” wherever we go. Why do they call it mood lighting? And what kind of mood goes with the full-on, high-intensity setting? Paranoia?

I bought a snazzy remote control dimmer for the bedroom, but the feeble IR signal wouldn’t turn the corner, so I took it back. We even tried rearranging mirrors to try to “bounce” the signal, but it was just too much effort. Too bad. I can’t even hit the switch with a shoe.
