I’m fascinated by photos that have been abandoned by their owners. You see them at flea markets and estate sales - old pictures that documented people’s lives, some event important enough to record for posterity, now randomly drifting with no connection to anything. TimeTales.com (website) collects these photos.
I love the Swiffer (swiffer.com), but somehow deep inside I know that battery-powered disposable brooms spell the end of civilization. When future generaitons dig up this layer of grime we call the 21st Century, there’ll be a special museum explaining the cultural horrors of our Swiffergeist.

Note: The “download” button won’t do anything. I made the thumbnail page for my archive, but don’t have the patience to upload the full-res files. You can still click and see a larger version, though. Prints are available, of course.
Whoa! check out the cool calculator app under OSX 10.3! It has real-time currency conversion.
