Earth almost put on impact alert
(BBC): “Astronomers have revealed how they came within minutes of alerting the world to a potential asteroid strike last month.”
This sounds suspiciously like a barroom brag: “You know, with the asteroid coming and all, I was wondering if I could buy you a drink?”
