(website): A new project to make businesses more aware of their customer experience, and how to fix it.
Freelance customer service representation?
(ABC News): Scientists studying Mars say they have found evidence of methane in the atmosphere of the Red Planet, which they say could be a sign of present day life.
Is it just me, or do they seem to be baby-stepping us toward the big announcement that there are strip malls on Mars?
Solaris (website) was on Cinemax tonite, which elicited a discussion about time travel.
(physics.about.com): The mathematics of relativity ensures that, when a clock is moving it runs slower than when it is at rest. And this is not some sort of weird effect that only clocks feel - experiments have shown that when muons (unstable particles) created in the upper atmosphere by cosmic rays receive so much energy that they move close to the speed of light.
Hey, any experiment in which clocks are “feeling” things is pretty weird already.
(jerryspringer.com): “GUEST SEARCH: Does this sound like you or someone you know? Maybe you could end up on the next Jerry Springer.”
Okay, I know I’ll probably need a new phone soon, but I can’t find one that’s as simple and robust as the one I have now (an old Sanyo). This one (sprint) looks promising, but why can’t they make a plain, sturdy phone with basic features and long talk time? I don’t want a silly flip phone. Nothing electronic should have hinges, in my opinion. Assuming I’m sticking with Sprint (which I’ve been super-happy with so far), my choices are pretty slim.
(Salon): Indeed, if used as intended, the Planner becomes the hub of one’s entire life. Its pages contain all activities, as well as relationships, thoughts, beliefs, dreams, desires and plans for five or six years into the future. More than a mere organizer, it’s close to a religion. In the Franklin Covey faith, organization is a means to salvation.
What a great opportunity to integrate blogging into the Franklin system. I wonder if they’ve considered this. I see a Franklin/Moveable Type JV in our future.
