I recently acquired a complete setup of commerical darkroom equipment and have nearly finished converting a room off our garage to a permanent darkroom. I imagine that’s what it was orignally designed for, anyway, with the pegboard and lab counter. The equipment is top-notch and includes a motorized Beseler 45MXII enlarger with a condenser head and Schneider 80/f4 lens (in addition to three other lenses), a Thomas Super Duplex low-pressure sodium safelight, two paper safes, two easels, trays, timers, chemicals, paper, mounting glass, a professional dryer. . . well, I keep finding things in boxes. All I need now is something for the nearly 100-pound enlarger to sit on. It has to be sturdy, obvisously, and approximately four-feet wide by 36-inches deep (or slightly less). If I had the inkling, and the camera, I could print up to 4″ by 5″ negatives, but I plan on sticking with 35mm black & white for now. I need to brush up on my chemistry, too. It’s been many years since I did darkroom work.
