Bad experience at Sears
Do not buy tires from Sears. Ever. I’ll make this short:
- Called Sears at noon to inquire about tires for Colli’s car. Yep. Got ‘em. Decent brand, too. Okay price.
- Show up at 5 p.m. “It’ll be two hours.” What the hell. I gotta travel tomorrow.
- 2.5 hours later, car still on rack. Wait in line 10 minutes to talk to ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE.
- Told they “only had three tires” and “were going to call me.”
- Get car. Leave.
Do not buy tires at Sears. They will waste your time, and you can get much better deals at tirerack.com, which is what I usually do anyway.
Note: Sears has been successfully sued for overcharging people in their automotive department. Tonite, I personally witnessed the department manager tell a young couple they needed to have their alignment checked every 4,000 miles. Do not buy tires at Sears, especially in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
