Spent the day at the San Diego Zoo and saw most of the things we missed last year. I’m a big fan of the tiny deer and the hummingbird aviary. And the pigmy hippos. Got Ash registered for Adidas; the festivities start tomorrow.
We frolicked on the beach near Torrey Pines today after some shopping in Bird Rock. The water was great! Now, we’re getting ready to go eat. Special thanks to Banana Republic for $9 whitey tighties.
We’re staying a couple nights in La Jolla, one of our favorite places, where you can surf, buy a Ferrari, and eat sushi all within a city block. I’m also hoping you can buy underwear, because my ‘pack light’ strategy isn’t working so well in SoCal, where people apparently don’t do laundry but opt to just buy new clothes instead. There was a guy selling cool t-shirts 3-for-$20 last year down by the water, so maybe that will work out again.
